Livingstone should apologise

‘PEOPLE DID not vote for Ken Livingstone for him to start coming out and attacking a major trade union.

And the RMT is a union that has done more than any other single body to defend the tube service against privatisation.

People voted for Livingstone because they thought he would not fall for the Tory and Liberal Democrat attacks on the tube workers.

But I’m very sorry to see that he has done exactly that. There are already enough anti-union voices on the London Assembly—he shouldn’t be one of them. He should apologise to the RMT.’
