Tape One EP by Young Fathers

The Young Fathers are a hip hop trio hailing from Edinburgh.

Their music reflects their mixed heritage.

Alloysious was born in Liberia, Kayus’ parents are Nigerian migrants and G grew up on the city’s estates.

They’ve been together since they were 14.

Their signing to left field US hip hop label Anticon looks set to bring their dark, synth-heavy sound to a new audience.
