Survivors of the 1989 Hillsborough football disaster have made fresh complaints about their treatment by police after the crush.
Diane Lynn said that an officer sexually harassed her after an official witness interview. She said, “I never told anyone about it. In those days no one was going to believe you against the police.”
Others said they were threatened with jail if they didn’t change their statements.
One, Nick Braley, added, “The main interviewer decided that I was a left wing agitator out to get the police. He questioned if I was in the Socialist Workers Party or the Workers Revolutionary Party.”
