Elderly People living in the poorest places get ill up to 15 years earlier than those in wealthy areas, a study shows.
The survey of two million patients in Scotland showed poor people were worst affected by long-term physical and mental disorders. It found 42 percent had at least one chronic condition.
The researchers added that more GPs are needed in poorer areas.
