Teachers say children are going hungry

Teachers are regularly seeing poor children come into school hungry, a survey reveals.

Six out of ten come across hungry pupils every week—and four out of ten see them every day.

One teacher told researchers they had even seen 'scavenger pupils finishing off scraps'.
