British National Party (BNP) leader Nick Griffin showed his true Nazi colours at a rally outside Liverpool Crown Court earlier this month, when he was pictured posing behind a “white power” flag.
He happily posed with the racist flag as he was joined by thugs from the BNP and English Defence League (EDL) on a protest against “Muslim paedophiles”.
The BNP’s support base has crumbled as anti-racists have repeatedly exposed the party’s fascist core.
The organisation has shed members and its finances have collapsed.
But the party is still dangerous and the fight against fascism must continue.
That’s why anti-fascist and anti-racist activists will gather this Saturday in London for the Unite Against Fascism (UAF) national conference.
Saturday 25 February, 10am to 4.30pm, Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL. For more details go to http://uaf.org.uk
