Housing workers at Family Mosaic Housing Association have voted for strikes over new contracts in a consultative ballot.
Bosses have issued dismissal letters to all workers who have refused to sign up to pay cuts and longer working hours. The Unison union now plans a formal strike ballot.
The firm’s staff work in London and Essex.
Workers are angry that bosses are not being hit by any cuts. In fact chief executive Brendan Sarsfield saw his pay rise to £172,000 last year.
