Hospitality staff at the houses of parliament in London are being balloted to strike in a pensions dispute.
This could mean 300 waiters, cleaners and bar and kitchen staff, who are in the GMB union, forming picket lines outside parliament.
Keith Henderson, the GMB regional organiser, told Socialist Worker, “Our members wanted to come out with their public sector brothers and sisters on 30 November.
“I believe we will get a yes vote and that we’ll shut down parliament.”
The ballot closes on 15 November.
