Veteran journalist John Pilger will be holding a question and answer session at an event to help raise funds for this year’s Socialist Worker Appeal.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from the man who has walked the killing fields of Vietnam in the 1960s to Iraq and Afghanistan today.

Pilger will present and update his 2003 documentary Breaking the Silence, which exposes the horrors that US and British imperialism have brought to Afghanistan. He will then take questions.

The event takes place at 6.30pm on Friday

26 September at the Institute of Education, central London. Tickets are £8 or £5.

To book phone the Appeal office on 020 7819 1190 or go to » www.swappeal.org.uk
