Students ‘welcome’ US ambassador

Glasgow and Strathclyde university Stop the War groups mobilised to oppose US ambassador Robert Tuttle’s visit to Glasgow University last Wednesday.

Tuttle has lied about rendition flights of prisoners and the use of chemical weapons in Iraq. He was met by a group of 60 demonstrators.

After his meeting, activists blocked the building and prevented him from leaving for over an hour.

The demonstration showed Tuttle and other war criminals that our movement will hold them to account for their actions.
