Scottish Power WORKERS at Scottish Power, members of the AEEU, have voted overwhelmingly for strike action. Workers voted by 488 votes to 55 for a strike. The ballot result at Manweb in the north west, owned by Scottish Power, was due later this week. Workers are furious at plans for redundancies. Shop stewards were set to meet this week, and mass meetings are planned next week to set a date for action to start. |
